**Description**
Leidos is seeking a Senior Contracts Manager to support the Security Enterprise Solutions Business Area of the Commercial & International Sector. Primary focus will be within the Global Products Division for the part of the business where we provide cargo screening products for the US government and commercial ports and borders customers across the world. This is a great opportunity to support a growth business in an exciting industry while also working at a large company with an established Contracts function.
The Senior Contracts Manager will report to the Contracts Director and support all contract management activities for a diverse portfolio of international contracts. This is an individual contributor role and candidate must be able to work independently as well as part of a team of contract professionals supporting proposal preparation and a portfolio of contracts.
This position will be remote but will need to support international time zones. Candidates within the DMV area may need to travel to Leidos HQ in Reston, VA, as needed and candidates within the San Diego metro area may need to travel to Leidos’ Vista location, as needed.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide the oversight and evaluation of proposals, manage contracts portfolio, recommend, and implement new solutions to achieve functional objectives, lead contract negotiations, problem solve multi-faceted and complex contractual/customer issues as they arise, identify risks and propose mitigation strategies, ensure compliance with Leidos policies, as well as develop and maintain excellent customer relationships.
Candidate must be self-motivated and able to work independently. Must be a consummate team player, routinely interacting with PMs, procurement, finance, project control, business development, legal and export control team members. Proactively engage with customer counterparts in order to be responsive to customer requirements.
Basic Qualifications
-BA degree + 12 or more years of relevant experience; or Masters degree + 10 or more years of relevant experience.
-Candidate must have in depth knowledge of all contract types (e.g., FFP, T&M, and Cost Plus).
-Proven experience with international and commercial contracts and customers.
-Proven ability to solicit and process complex information and data to solve complex problems and make sound decisions;
-Strong interpersonal skills with measured and articulate communication skills; ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers; proven history of building a team environment and fostering communication with the business and Contracts leadership team.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Excellent negotiation skills, including experience negotiating complex terms and conditions
- Experience as Contracts lead on large proposals is required.
- Proficient in Excel/Word/PowerPoint.

**Pay Range:**
Pay Range $112,450.00 - $203,275.00
