About the Role

As the Senior Contract Manager, you will be a proactive problem solver and negotiations leader. You will work independently by applying and demonstrating in-depth knowledge of contract types and contacting.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Contracts Manager, you will:

Independently negotiate and execute contracts and services orders with external customers.

Independently draft any and all necessary contractual documents while following the team’s defined processes.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.

Educate team members and cross functional teams on our processes and procedures to ensure effective communication and cross-education.

Properly manage internal and external customer relationships with prompt and timely responses as well as appropriate expectation management.

Schedule and/or attend internal and external meetings while providing valuable insight and feedback when necessary.

Effectively manage schedule to complete assigned tasks timely and proficiently.

Strategize with internal stakeholders on negotiation process and approach in order to best address customer concerns while balancing the needs and concerns of the business.

Discuss, strategize, develop, and implement plans with internal stakeholders to achieve or exceed revenue goals.

Independently identify issues requiring escalation.

Follow and properly document escalations for any and all qualifying changes or exceptions to the standard contracting language as documented in the team’s defined processes.

Ensure cross functional teams have obtained necessary approvals for accommodating contractual factors.

Provide detailed and timely updates to Manager, internal and external Customers as necessary on work scope and production.

Develop, lead, and actively participate in the development and/or improvement of asset administrator documentation.

Take all required continuing education courses in a timely manner as required.

Timely notify all internal customers, Team, and Manager of anticipated changes to work schedule, including anticipated PTO.

Proficiently utilize Word, Excel, Microsoft Email, Microsoft Teams, and other necessary team tools, such as PCT, Workday, and IKU.

Aid in educating and assisting other team members with questions or conceptual concerns as they may arise.

Requirements

Possess a JD preferred, or Bachelor's, in Law, or a field related required with combined 5+ years of Contract Management or relevant legal practice (attorney) required.

Possess excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

Possess negotiation skills. negotiation skills. Be able to review and negotiate complex contracts and agreements with attention to detail required.

Able to work well in team environment Insurance and knowledge of regulatory environment.

Understand/ knowledgeable of applicable regulatory environment and applicable laws (FCRA, DPPA, GLB, etc.) .

Have expert knowledge of contract law and regulations.

Capable of understanding and applying applicable laws and regulations governing data protection and security (including FCRA, DPPA, and GLBA) in support of providing recommendations to key business stakeholders and senior leaders in the preparation.
