Team DescriptionThis is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Contributor, Lodging, Ground and Sea, based in Sabre’s Montevideo office to support and enhance Sabre’s relationships with our key Lodging suppliers globally. Working under general direction of the Director LGS Supply this role will be closely supporting their assigned accounts with the resolution of issues, implementation of new Sabre products and projects defined by the suppliers. The individual will be communicating directly with our lodging customers and utilize advanced subject and technical knowledge to support all phases of project life cycles or until technical issues are being resolved. A key member of the Sabre Global Lodging, Ground & Sea (LGS) Team, this role will also assist the LGS Product Managers and Development Teams with to determine the viability of customer-driven requests as well as the rollout of new API’s on the Supply side. Strong communications skills and a willingness to make a difference for our key Lodging, Ground & Sea customers is must to develop a stronger, more collaborative relationship with these customers whilst Sabre is going through a transformation of its system and services.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Has 5 years of Travel Industry ExperienceHas deep understanding of Sabre Core GDS functionality in LodgingHas ideally a Help Desk or Technical Sales BackgroundHas a solid understanding of the Car Rental, Rail and Cruise industryHas a deep understanding of Web Services and API’sHas exceptional communications skills, written and verballyHas experience in working for a fast paced, matrix driven global organizationHas inherent curiosity to become an expert in Sabre’s Ground & Sea businessHas passion for the industry, and wants to take partnerships to the next levelHas a strategic mindset and solution orientationHas the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyIs fluent in EnglishHas conversational skills in Spanish and ideally PortugueseProven track record of successful client service across multiple geographies and culturesExcellent oral and written skills and a commitment to ensuring stakeholders are always advised of project/relationship status versus deliverable timetablesProven ability to influence cross-functional teams within a matrix organization with superb internal and external customer relationship-buildingAbility to simultaneously handle multiple initiatives and activitiesA self-starter who is highly motivatedTravel may be required infrequentlyBenefits
