**Job Description**
Danfoss is a global leader in energy-efficient technologies, and within our **Controls & Thermal Management (CTM)** division, we play a key role in driving sustainable growth across multiple business areas. To strengthen our performance controlling setup, we are now looking for a **Senior Controller with a strong focus on supply chain finance.**
In this role, you’ll take the lead on financial planning, reporting, and performance controlling – with particular focus on our global supply chain and factory network. You’ll work closely with our Supply Chain VPs as a trusted advisor on business cases, performance improvements, and strategic investments.
A key part of the role is also the close, day-to-day sparring with your direct manager, where you’ll help shape and continuously develop the direction of the controlling function.
**Job Responsibilities**
+ Drive and coordinate global financial planning, reporting, and controlling activities
+ Monitor and analyze KPIs across supply chain operations
+ Support and challenge forecasting and target-setting (P&L, TWC, CAPEX)
+ Deliver proactive insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders
+ Act as a business partner to Supply Chain VPs and divisional leadership
+ Validate strategic business cases and investment proposals
+ Provide ad hoc analysis to support decision-making
+ Define and test Power BI reports (in collaboration with our back-office team)
+ Help continuously improve performance tools and controlling processes
**Background & Skills**
+ A degree in Finance (Master’s or Bachelor’s) with strong analytical and numerical skills
+ Proven experience in controlling or business finance – preferably with exposure to supply chain
+ Confidence working in English, both written and spoken
+ Hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
+ Familiarity with ERP systems – ideally SAP
+ Advanced user of Power BI and SAP BI
+ Solid knowledge of data modelling, data mining, and ETL processes
To succeed in this role, you need to be highly skilled in financial analysis and confident in your findings. You’ll often be the one bringing data-driven insights to the table, so the ability to stand by your conclusions, challenge assumptions, and communicate clearly with senior stakeholders is key
We’re looking for someone who is curious by nature, proactive in approach, and motivated by driving improvement. You thrive in collaboration but are also comfortable working independently and taking ownership of your tasks. You enjoy digging into data, spotting patterns, and translating numbers into real business impact
Feel free to reach out to **Jesper Majland-Munch, Director Performance Controlling** , at **+45 21 57 92 23** if you have any questions about the role.
**Employee Benefits**
**As part of your employment, you will have access to a range of attractive benefits, including:**
+ Performance-based bonus scheme
+ Flexible working hours
+ Competitive pension plan and personal insurance
+ Mobile phone and communication package
+ Access to Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)
Please note that the availability and details of these benefits may vary depending on your country of employment and individual contract terms. Danfoss reserves the right to amend or update benefits at any time without prior notice.
