Meet the team:
Organizationally located within Global Controlling, the Cloud CoE Team acts as an advisor for SAP's Finance,
Portfolio and Cloud Business organization across the globe. The team is instrumental in steering SAP’s strive
for operational excellence, requiring high-quality standards in analysis, reporting, and support for educated
decision-making. Our portfolio includes:
• Cloud Topline: Cloud Revenue, Current Cloud Backlog, Cloud Bookings, Cloud Renewals
• Cloud Total Cost of Operations (TCO)
• Cloud Floor Pricing
• Cloud Capacity Management
The Cloud Revenue & Current Cloud Backlog Subscription CoE is a specialized team focused on SAP's
subscription business. As a controller, you will drive budget, forecast and actuals processes for a specific
region, providing key results to our stakeholders. You will also ensure compliance of CCB actuals by detecting,
raising, and providing solutions. Additionally, you will be responsible for and an expert in the Commit2Consum
business model.
What you'll do:
• Execute Cloud Topline Planning (Forecast/Budget) & Actual Processes
• Understand key metrics of SAP’s Cloud business, strategy and operations, including services, solutions,
and organizational structure
• Ensure accurate revenue recognition and compliance during the quarterly closing process
• Actively support regional stakeholders regarding Cloud Revenue and Current Cloud Backlog
• Drive continuous improvement of topline-related processes, especially in the context of automation and
major business process enhancements to ensure compliance and high process efficiency
• Work closely and effectively with Business Units/Regions as a "Trusted Business Advisor" by
understanding business needs, behavior, operations, and supporting them in their controlling
requirements
• Serve as the subject matter expert for the Commit2Consume business model
What you bring:
• Excellent University degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration (Ideally experience or
majored in Controlling, Finance or Accounting)
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in a finance function
• Expert level expertise in MS Excel, with proficiency using formulas, pivot tables, linked worksheets, and
charts
• Experience with SAP products (e.g. SAP CO/FI, Business Warehouse, Revenue Accounting & Reporting)
• Knowledge of revenue recognition standards (IFRS 15) is preferred
• Strong communication and social skills and the ability to understand complex frameworks
• Proven skills in coordinating between different stakeholders (Business / Controlling / Board etc.)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
• Self-managed, high customer orientation
• Fluent in English
