Senior Controller / FP&A - International

About This Role

                                                                                                         

Act as Finance Business Partner including close communication and cooperation with management of International region and sub-regions and support business decisionsDevelop a strong commercial understanding of the businessMonitor programs and projects. Identification and monitoring of opportunities and risks.Support realizing synergies and harmonizing structures and tools within International RegionSupport the consolidated monthly financial forecast and yearly budgetSupport non-cash working Capital (NCWC) reduction and ROCE improvement initiativesProvide proactive support with financial and business analytics to the Business; Includes performing general and customized analyses; develop value added KPIs, financial and decision modeling, and ad-hoc analysis to support strategic initiativesSupport complex projects across the business which include financial modeling, trend analyses, sensitivity analyses, profitability analyses, pricingSupport initiatives to ensure regulatory and legal compliance within International Region and comply with CAE’s Corporate Policies and Procedures (CP&P).Act as contact persons to our headquarters in Canada and in the USA.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education and Experience)

Education RequirementsUniversity Degree in accounting, controlling, financeExperience RequirementsFive to ten years of relevant experience Strong Financial reporting skills.Strong budgeting and forecasting experience.Experience in multinational company. Ability to work with different teams globallyAbility to learn the use of financial software applications (e.g. Oracle)IFRS knowledge is a benefitGood analytical, technical and organizational skillsAbility to work under minimal supervision while respecting deadlinesAdvanced experience with Excel and PowerPointFluent in written and spoken EnglishTravel required from time to time
