Employee
is responsible for supporting employees and stations for time and attendance
scheduling, payroll, training, and application of Delta policy. Employee will be required to support stations
and employees through the explanation of Delta policies and practices –
including applicability to the station/employee’s circumstance.
Resolution
of employee/station requests often requires understanding of HR and HRSD
policies & procedures as well as divisional practices.
**PRIMARY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Prepares and tracks employee work schedules and rosters. Maintainsemployee databases to manage and process employee time.
+ Works independently with moderate supervision on short to medium termprojects and audits to ensure policy and wage/hour compliance.
+ Reviews and acts on audit reports to ensure legacy time systems are insync with SAP, Time and quota calculations are accurate, and to identify andresolve employee pay discrepancies
+ Tier2 response to resolve and communicate complex resolution of employee payconcerns or quota balance disputes that local time admins or leaders are unableto resolve
+ Serves as the subject matter expert for SAP Time and quota, schema, MPS,time collection, time and attendance policies, and employee/station schedulingpractices.
+ Resolves employee pay or quota balance concerns/disputes throughapplication of their in-depth knowledge of Delta’s wage/hour policies,applicable state/local law, and Delta’s timekeeping systems
+ Possesses the ability to calculate employee wages, balances, andquotas
+ Possesses working knowledge of cross-HR policies/procedures andimpact on Time and Attendance
+ Coordinates with cross-divisional and cross-HR resources as needed
+ Possess written and oral communication skills necessary tocommunicate complex resolution of employee pay concerns
+ Adept at solving complex problems by utilizing a combination ofresearch, creativity, and critical thinking
+ In the event of large scale service failures or schema codedefects, must quickly identify the root cause, escalate to the appropriateresources for resolution, identify the impacted population, and communicate thecause and resolution to impacted employees, leaders, and HRBPs
+ Possesses the ability to prioritize important tasks and projects whilemeeting internal SLAs and payroll deadlines
+ As needed, will develop and facilitate training to both internalHRSD-Time and Attendance employees as well as external partners
+ Partners with HR System Operations to test new code deployments
+ Identifies and builds necessary test scripts
+ Run test scripts and determine if they pass/fail the requirements
+ Identify and recommend to Time and Attendance leadership potentialexceptions from Delta’s standard policy/practices
+ Partners with Divisions,HRBPs, HR System Operations, Payroll and Time and Attendance leadership toensure creative schedule options presented will meet state/local laws, Deltapolicy, system requirements and will pay as expected
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
+ Must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with proven ability to utilize Microsoft Office suite, including Access and Excel.
+ Must possess excellent time management skills and should be able to multi-task and prioritize daily assignments as well as ongoing projects
+ Must be very well motivated to meet the needs of internal customers while practicing diplomacy when communicating and work with various departments and individuals at all levels in the Company.
+ Must be able to effectively communicate complex information both orally and written form to employees and all levels of management.
+ Experience with MPS/SAP, time collection systems, workforce scheduling applications and/or payroll systems.
+ Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
+ Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
+ Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
+ Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
