**Summary**
The Senior Corporate Banking Sales Manager role entails working with large businesses to assess their creditworthiness, and build strong relationships with clients, typically within a bank or financial institution, by analyzing financial statements, market conditions, and industry trends to mitigate risk and identify suitable lending opportunities; requiring a deep understanding of financial regulations and strong analytical skills to ensure compliance and profitability
**Key responsibilities may include:**
+ Manages revenue generation activities through developing sales objectives, plans and tactics to achieve sales results in key result areas, and developing, coordinating and implementing marketing efforts and sales plans that address local market opportunities.
+ **Business development:** Actively soliciting new corporate clients, identifying potential loan needs, and presenting customized lending solutions.
+ **Relationship management:** Building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers at client companies to understand their business objectives and identify future financing needs.
+ **Compliance:** Adhering to all relevant banking regulations and lending guidelines related to loan documentation, reporting, and compliance.
+ **Negotiation:** Negotiating loan terms and conditions with borrowers to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
+ **Industry expertise:** Staying updated on industry trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes impacting the corporate lending market.
**Required skills and qualifications:**
+ Bachelor (4-year college) degree and 8-10 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
+ Proven experience in commercial lending, preferably with a focus on large corporations
+ Strong analytical skills to interpret financial statements and assess credit risk
+ Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build client relationships and manage complex loan transactions
+ Understanding of financial modeling and credit analysis tools
+ Knowledge of relevant banking regulations and compliance requirements
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
