Senior Corporate FSQA Analyst

Job Description:

Salad and Go is seeking a Senior Corporate FSQA Analyst to lead our efforts in food safety, quality assurance, and risk management, ensuring the highest standards are met throughout our supply chain and in our stores. This role is responsible for the planning, implementation, and oversight of Food Safety and Quality Assurance (FSQA) programs, risk management, and compliance initiatives across Salad and Go's operations, from raw material sourcing through store-level execution. This includes ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, industry standards, and internal quality requirements. The Senior Corporate FSQA Analyst will support both store operations and raw material suppliers, managing processes from beginning to end.  

As the Senior Corporate FSQA Analyst you will:  

Develop and implement FSQA programs: Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive food safety and quality assurance programs, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and industry best practices. 

Manage supplier quality and safety: Oversee supplier approval, conduct audits, manage raw material specifications, traceability programs, and incoming material inspections to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards. 

Support store-level FSQA: Provide guidance, training, and support to store operations on food safety procedures, sanitation practices, and quality control measures. Conduct regular store audits to ensure compliance. 

Lead incident management and corrective actions: Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to quality or food safety. Develop and implement corrective and preventative actions (CAPA) to address identified issues and prevent recurrence. 

Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance: Perform internal FSQA/GMP and BRC internal validation audits, managing associated CAPA follow-up. Participate in regulatory and compliance audits. 

Maintain documentation and reporting: Maintain accurate records of all FSQA activities, manage document control within the FSQMS database, and prepare and submit required reports to regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders. 

Minimum Requirements:  

Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field preferred. 

At least 5+ years of experience in FSQA, risk management, and compliance within the food industry. 

Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, FDA regulations, and other relevant food safety standards. 

Experience with supplier management, auditing, and corrective action programs. 

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. 

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  

This role provides critical support to our business and operations teams, requiring a flexible schedule that may include weekends to ensure reporting functions are maintained.
