We are seeking a talented individual to join our Placement team at Marsh. This role will be based in Sandton, hybrid and has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

We will count on you to:
Broking Services
Attending strategy meetings and/or renewal meetings
Preparation / Finalisation of Broking documentation
Identification and selection of appropriate markets
Distribution of Broking Notes to the market
Negotiating with Markets and structuring deals
Implementation of placement strategy on high complexity accounts
Collation of market terms and quotes for submission to client services
Preparation / Finalisation of Placing Slips
Closings to markets / obtaining market confirmation of cover
Confirm final placement / changes and Endorsements
Preparation of other broking documentation as required
What you need to have:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in short term insurance
FAIS and CPD compliant
Knowledge of the principles of risk management
Knowledge of the mechanics of reinsurance
Diploma in Insurance or commenced studying towards AIISA an advantage
Insurer relationships an advantage
Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
Conversant with insurance legislation
