Overview
We are currently seeking a Corporate Security Investigator. The Corporate Security Investigator reports to the Corporate Security Department, Responsible for performing complex investigations related to potential losses and/or suspected criminal activity. Conducts physical security inspections, staff training and I.D. theft reports, Robbery, awareness sessions. Mortgage loan fraud investigations desirable. Documents compliance with regulatory guidelines.
Responsibilities Researches, analyzes and investigates potential criminal activity.Prepares and thoroughly documents factual and impartial findings in a timely and professional manner utilizing rules of judicial evidenceDevelops contacts with federal, state and local law enforcement agencies and peers at other financial institutions to facilitate investigations. Represents the bank with state, local and federal court appearances in both criminal and civil mattersConducts interviews of a highly sensitive nature with both customers and employees to determine facts and obtain statements in regards to any policy and procedure violations.Maintains thorough understanding of current banking regulations and bank policies and procedures that impact the investigation function.Documents results of investigations in case management system and meets reporting requirements of both internal and external entities.Prepares required reports in compliance with established regulatory guidelines and time frames.Compiles data, and maintains necessary records and files to assure efficient and consistent reporting of investigations.Conducts proactive training of bank personnel to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and awareness of bank policies.Suggests revisions to policies and procedures to facilitate loss prevention and recommends physical security enhancements to protect and safeguard the bank's employees and premises.Responds to and evaluates specific threats, robberies or other critical incidents in an expeditious manner and performs other duties as assigned or requested.May travel extensively by company or personal vehicle.Grants/removes associates’ badge access in all facilities, tracking access card key distribution across the BankMakes recommendations for replacement of physical security equipmentUnderstands complex documents such as basic contracts and licensesPerforms other duties as assigned or requested. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or 5-10 yrs. banking or corporate security experience .Current banking regulations and bank policiesProfessional certification desirable.Strong understanding of bank operations, policies and procedures, systems and operating rulesComplete understanding of bank regulatory and compliance issuesExperience in programming surveillance systemsKnowledge of electronic security equipment (burglar alarms, analog cameras, IP cameras, digital video recorders, card access systems, etc.Experience in physical security related fieldsExperience troubleshooting physical security issues, including during on-call/non-business hours; 24-7Experience in programming access control and security system Compensation The base pay range for this position is USD $80,000.00/Yr. - USD $130,000.00/Yr.
