Your role

-        Responsible for printing and solutions media relations for Canon
-        Innovation, product and technology communication for printing systems and solutions

-        Developing a corporate communications strategy with common themes of our business units
-        Influencer relations
-        Collaborating closely to other business units for strengthen company’s overall external communications
-        Deliver general press work in terms of preparation, implementation and follow up of press events, press meetings and interviews
-        Prepare documents and statements for media work and public appearance, including press releases, social media posts, development of briefings and key messages as well as follow up of activities and present current press topics to other communication departments
-        Identify relevant key topics and proactive external placement

Wen wir suchen

Your profile
-        You have many years of professional experience in communications or corporate messaging in a large company or as a journalist of a newspaper, TV or Online department
-        Experience in advising senior management on strategic topics and issues management
-        Outstanding written (including editing and proofreading) spoken and presenting language skills with the talent to summarize complicated and complex issues in a simple and understandable way in German and English
-        Strong network in media and solid understanding and command of digitalization of communications
-        Your are interested in development and integration of AI-Tools into our content strategy
-        Your are able to work with, handle and to persuade partners across all functional areas of Canon and across countries and cultures
-        Experienced in working under pressure with tight deadlines in a complex environment
-        Integrated personality and strong teammate driven to deliver results by consideration of long term view of business goals and objectives

Qualifikationen & Kompetenzen

-        Strong organizational skills
-        Highliy principled character who adheres to strict ethical and compliance standards, particularly around the handling of sensitive information
