Title:  Senior Cost Analyst
ALTA is supporting a contract-to-hire opportunity working 100% onsite in Harrison, Ohio.

     Position Summary and Purpose:

Performs cost analysis to be used for strategic decision making. Responsible for the design, development, testing, and ongoing maintenance of enterprise resource planning (ERP) processes and tools in support of business operations.
Duties and Responsibilities: Track monthly costs and production activity to provide insight into areas needing cost reduction and process or profit improvement. Analyze financial and business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements leveraging new technologies and approaches Identify opportunities for cost savings and drive projects to reduce costs Understand how activities and their costs are linked to products, processes, and customers. Design, develop and test reporting solutions Validate and champion ERP software updates Create documentation and train users on applications and enhancements Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Epicor financials applications and integrations

Education and Experience:

Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance required 4+ years providing cost accounting, report development and other accounting services Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Characteristics, etc.: REQUIRED: Handles complex issues and problems - refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.   Strong understanding of Epicor 10.2 or higher, including manufacturing, production, inventory, and financial modules. Experience developing Epicor Kinetic BAQs, SQL, and Dashboards An understanding database structures and design Proven critical thinking and problem-solving skills A track record of strong end user support High degree of curiosity Strong attention to detail
