We are looking to add a Senior Cost Control professional to our Life Sciences Project Controls team in Cary, North Carolina. You’ll have the opportunity to contribute to the success of our large EPCM projects. Specifically, you’ll assist with Cost Management for our large EPCM Programs and all associated sub projects. This will include, managing the overall program cost controls and reporting function, interfacing with other project team members, including Engineering, Construction, Procurement, Office planning, IT, Accounting, Economics and Finance, Tax, Contracts and Legal, to facilitate compliance with execution strategy and objectives with cost efficiency. We’ll look to you to provide status reports and related project reporting analyses to company and client management, identify problems and coordinate with the project team to correct and ensure work is being coordinated between the other departments and offices to meet project cost requirements. Other key deliverables will include preparing various project cost controls plans and reports, financial summaries, and related activities for project management on assigned projects, managing work processes, and procedures for cost management, evaluating projects at each stage of development to ensure cost and financial activities of the project team inclusive of ensuring client/contractual obligations have been met and reviewing contract drafts and related terms & conditions to ensure they meet project cost controls requirements and coordinate Design your career with a company that inspires and empowers you to deliver your best work so you can evolve, grow, and succeed.     • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, construction management, business or related field is preferred, equivalent years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree • At least 10 years of related experience working in an EPCM environment • Experience working on various projects to include coordinating and executing project issues. Specific experience in cost engineering functions, including cost estimating, cost control, change management and cost analysis • Experience in project controls, commercial operations, with emphasis on project controls and financial issues • Skills with Excel Macro level, Databases(MSAccess), Power BI and dashboard development, desirable. • Proven experience with Cost / ERP databases such as Oracle, SAP etc • Previous Prolog and or Oracle Unifier experience would be an advantage Please note: This position is a Field position at the client site Ideally, You’ll Also Have:  • Program related experience. • MS in an Engineering or Construction Sciences Discipline • Above average Excel skills #LifeSciences, #Bio/Pharma, #EPCMV, #globallifescience Jacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
