Description: Job Summary:
This senior individual contributor role develops concepts for campaigns and collateral that align to marketing and business strategy, determines design layout and builds or guides development of materials for final production and vendor release, and produces proofs for materials to be reviewed and approved by team members and clients.
Employees in this role have a full working knowledge of design principles, theories, and concepts, including the ability to frequently apply this knowledge to work situations by providing direction to creative team members.

Develops concepts for campaigns and collateral that align to marketing and business strategy by determining concept requirements and needs; organizing brainstorming teams and participating in brainstorming sessions; generating and expanding ideas; selecting, refining, and evaluating feasibility of concept; ensuring concept is appropriate for medium (e.g., signs, booklets, brochures, web pages, etc.); preparing visual presentation of concept; and presenting concepts in order to gain buy-in and approval from relevant stakeholders.
Determines design layout and builds or guides development of materials for final production and vendor release by providing input about materials and instructions required to complete production; understanding of specific mediums and channels (e.g., digital, print), and developing materials which meet technical requirements and optimize user experience; and producing proofs for materials to be reviewed and approved by team members and clients.
Ensures design concepts meet KP brand standards and guidelines by maintaining quality, consistency, and cost effectiveness for assigned projects; maintaining and ensuring adherence to established review processes; ensuring visibility and alignment of concepts across stakeholders; and reviewing and approving concepts for consistency, brand standards adherence, production quality, and other criteria.
Supports creative projects by communicating project priorities and deadlines to team members; identifying and managing cross-functional stakeholder contacts; understanding and adhering to project budgets; presenting cost effective design solutions; participating in vendor selection; assisting with vendor management; presenting project updates; and escalating issues as appropriate.
Provides direction to creative team by gathering analytics, research, and customer input and sign-off to develop an understanding of the work; collaborating with communication and marketing teams; contributes to the development of creative briefs that inform and inspire writers, designers, and other creative professionals; and presenting creative as a reflection of the brief to customers and relevant stakeholders. Minimum Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited art program (e.g., Art Institute, Art Center of Design, etc.) or a Bachelors degree in Design, Fine Arts, Advertising, Marketing, Communications or related field and Minimum Six (6) years design experience. Additional equivalent work experience in a directly related field may be substituted for the degree requirement.
Minimum One (1) year experience in a leadership role with or without direct reports.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience using tools such as PowerPoint, Keynote, Adobe Creative Suite, and other visualization platforms to produce high-quality, on-brand visual content.
Preferred Qualifications:Two (2) years project management experience.Three (3) years professional experience in the development of digital or multi-media content.
