**Job Description:**
**What You'll Do**
Manages the creative strategy and development process for monthly Student direct mail and email campaigns that drive smart, insightful, innovative and inspiring creative solutions. Challenges status quo and drives continuous improvement of creative strategies and processes that advance the alignment and integration of marketing efforts.
The candidate will play a leading role in our ongoing efforts to innovate within the invitation to apply direct mail and email channels for the Student Discover it card product. We are looking for a customer-focused, data-driven marketer who can execute creative strategy, optimize creative communications through test and learn plans, and ensure consistent messaging across channels. A successful candidate will exhibit a strong creative point of view, the ability to partner with cross-functional teams and a passion for creating integrated and engaging customer experiences.
Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.
**How You'll Do It**
+ Manage the creative strategy and development process end-to-end for monthly Student direct mail and email campaign; including creative briefs and agency rounds of review, legal review and risk assessment and quality control checks before assets are sent to be printed or email launch to ensure flawless execution.
+ You’ll be responsible for approximately: 15+ Student Campaigns per year, 25+ Creative tests per year
+ Partners with business partners (Channel & Audience Teams) to drive development of creative brief inputs and improve the creative testing framework to optimize targeting, contact strategy, messaging and creative format.
+ Lead agency management for the creative execution process that drives deeper inspiration of creative teams and generation of innovative ideas and solutions that fuel the business.
+ Partner with Creative execution team, Print Production and external suppliers to ensure flawless implementation.
+ Partners with business partners to uncover consumer, customer, industry, competitive and business insights for further exploration, prioritization and development.
+ Partners with business partners to facilitate brainstorms and working sessions among key stakeholders to further plan creative campaigns and concepts.
+ Helps in documentation and evaluation of monthly creative campaign performance and results share outs to drive further messaging, audience and channel optimizations and extract creative learnings for further test and implementation.
+ Stays informed, up-to-date and reports out on cultural/social trends and customers’ views and attitudes to ensure broader lens of consumer landscape is at the forefront of creative strategies and creative work developed.
+ Build a robust creative repository to document creative controls and test learnings.
+ Manage creative agency budget to ensure projects are being managed efficiently, per yearly plan and contract scope.
+ Lead process simplification and optimization to reduce versions and cycle time, increase print efficiency.
+ Obtain and store proper documentation in a centralized location ensuring business controls and compliance needs are achieved.
**Qualifications You'll Need**
**Minimum Requirements**
+ Associates Marketing
+ 2+ years Creative Agency Planner, Creative Strategist, Communications Strategist or Related
+ **In Lieu of Education Experience** 6+ years Creative Agency Planner, Creative Strategist, Communications Strategist or Related
**Preferred Requirements**
+ Bachelors Marketing
+ 2+ years Digital and/or Print Marketing experience or Related

**Compensation:**
The base pay for this position generally ranges between $67,000.00 to $113,000.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
