**Description** The Capital Area Division (CAD) of Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) is seeking an energetic **Senior Critical Materials Engineer** to research and analyze strengths, weaknesses, threats, and opportunities within the global defense industrial base, recommend relevant prototyping efforts, craft relevant acquisition documents, evaluate proposed efforts, monitor program execution, conduct outreach efforts, and conduct site visits. The employee will support the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Industrial Base Policy (IBP) in Alexandrea, VA, and/or remotely. This position is contingent upon customer resume approval, a phone screening, position funding, and security clearance verification.
