Senior Customer Sales Rep
As the Sr Customer Sales Rep, you will help Billtrust Account Managers increase revenue from clients by taking ownership of many repeatable tasks that Account Managers currently perform for over 1,000 clients. Examples include: preparing for client meetings with extensive research into current performance, requesting Order Forms, Merchant Applications, Statements of Work from Professional Services, working internally with various Billtrust departments to resolve customer questions and analyzing client data to identify target lists for specific add-on sales campaigns.
What You'll Do:
Assist in analyzing client’s current performance to prepare for client meetings through knowledge of Billtrust’s solutions Regularly track and analyze KPIs to assess client satisfaction and identify areas for improvement Be a go-to source for client-related sales and relationship issues for the Vertical Sales and Enterprise Sales teams Work closely with Account Managers on client calls and web meetings Drive demand for add-ons and cross-sells with targeted campaigns Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships Communicate directly with customers in order to drive attendance at Billtrust events and generate leads for specific products Continuously develop and maintain a deep understanding of Billtrust's products and services to effectively address client needs and provide tailored solutionsWhat You'll Bring:
Minimum 5 years experience in account management or customer-facing roles, ideally in a B2B SaaS sales environment. Strong analytic and research skills to be highly productive on repetitive internal tasks to support client sales activities Proven ability to generate interest from clients or prospects for enterprise software solutions Business acumen to understand how and when customers make buying decisions Proven ability to successfully use excellent communication skills to work with a wide variety of technical and business people internally and externally Has a highly consultative sales style and a deep commitment to client satisfaction Highly developed organizational skills and capacity to handle multiple issues at a time Knowledge of B2B invoice to cash process is a plus Strong technical aptitude Drive to exceed both personal and team sales goals Strong negotiation skills Passion for helping and supporting customers Proficiency in reading, interpreting, and understanding contract language to effectively address customer inquiries, identify potential issues, and support renewal or upsell discussions.The expected base salary range for this position is $65,000 - $110,000 annually.
Compensation may vary depending on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location. Some roles may qualify for extra incentives like equity, commissions, or other variable performance-related bonuses.
