Caterpillar Financial Services is the global financing company of Caterpillar Inc, USA, the world's leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, diesel and natural gas engines, industrial gas turbines, and diesel-electric locomotives. For our Customer Services department, we are looking for a Fully Qualified Lawyer to fill the position of Senior Customer Services Representative (Legal Rep). In this role, you will be responsible for handling distressed financing and leasing contracts, advising the Customer Services team on legal matters, and supporting them in receivables management. Your tasks will also include collaborating with the Compliance department (Zentrale Stelle) in the area of prevention of money laundering, terrorism financing, and other criminal activities.
What You Will Do
Independent and responsible handling of insolvencies and bankruptciesRemarketing of repossessed machinesAssessment of restructuring and continuation concepts and responsibility for credit decisions on contract restructurings within your own credit competencePreparation of decision templates for credit decisions that exceed your own credit competenceActive receivables managementResponsible contact person for insolvency administrators, end customers, dealers, and field staffAttending customer and dealer appointments, participating in meetings with insolvency administratorsReporting and maintaining databasesWhat You Have
