US Customs Compliance Senior Analyst
Location: Boston, MA; Bethlehem, PA; or Jacksonville, FL
OBJECTIVES:
The US Customs Compliance Senior Analyst supports the US Customs Compliance team in overseeing tasks related to Primark’s US customs activities. This role reports to the US Customs Compliance Manager. The US Customs Compliance team is an integral part of the wider global Primark customs compliance function. This newly created position will provide support for US Customs compliance functions including recordkeeping, reporting, Importer Security Filings, customs clearances, broker compliance, and duty payments.
RESPONSIBILITIES:Provide support for customs compliance projects, including CTPAT certificationConduct customs entry auditsCoordinate with US customs brokers for clearances of import shipments and Importer Security FilingsSupport risk reporting measuresReview product ranges for PGA import requirementsCollaborate with internal and external stakeholders including Supply Chain, Sourcing/Buying, Finance, 3PLs, and customs brokersSupport routine and ad hoc reporting or research needsQUALIFICATIONS:Undergraduate degree preferredCustoms broker license preferred 5-6 years of Customs experienceProficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc.)Strong communication and interpersonal skillsSelf-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervisionAbility to pass a criminal history and background check, as required and conducted by US CustomsAbility to travel to Primark’s FTZ locations, US Head office, Global Head Office when needed (travel requirement estimate is approximately 10%)Primark is an equal opportunity employer.
