Senior Data Analyst – Money Markets Data

through innovative technology - quickly and accurately.
**Our Team:**
In
2023, US Money Market Funds (MMF) held $6.1 trillion in AUM and Non-US MMFs
held an additional $1.2 trillion in AUM. This is a growing market given the
increased rates environment and fund inflows have reached all time levels. As a
result, we have seen higher demand for this data from clients and are creating
a new dedicated global Money Markets data team to address the opportunities in
this space.
**What's the Role?**
As a Data Analyst
with our team, you will be responsible for the acquisition, maintenance and
quality assurance of money markets instruments data. This will entail engagement
with Issuers and Dealers to source and validate data, close collaboration with
the data engineers on the team to ensure automated processes work as expected,
provide support to clients with complex data queries and work on various data
quality and data modelling projects. Joining the Data department means that you
are a part of one of the world's leading sources of data, providing accurate,
immediate insights for financial market professionals. You will enhance your
product knowledge, learn about our clients and their needs, and build
relationships throughout the company, all while helping our clients stay on top
of developments within Money Markets globally.
You're the type of
person who looks beyond the headline with a keen eye for detail because you
know how data inspires market trends, breaking news, and analysis. With ever
increasing coverage and demand for timely data, you will be responsible for
managing priorities of different initiatives and for utilizing industry
knowledge to help drive decisions and generate new dataset offerings. You will
need to know your customer, their challenges, and their workflows. With this
insight, you will bring creative ideas to the table on how we can make our data
integration seamless and more efficient.
**We’ll trust you to:**
+ To have knowledge in Fixedincome and an interest in Money Markets specifically
+ Have experience working withdata and have an understanding about data quality best practices
+ Liaise with Clearing Houses,Central Banks, Exchanges, Dealers and Issuers to ensure comprehensive andaccurate data offering
+ Effectively collaborate withother internal departments, such as but not limited to Product,Engineering and News on dataset product development initiatives
+ Develop expertise in local marketsacross the Americas
+ Apply problem-solving anddata analysis skills to identify innovative workflow efficiencies andimplement solutions to enhance our processes/overall product strategy
+ Collaborate with Sales topromote Money Markets data using the relevant subject matter expertise,and use knowledge gained from client interactions to enhance the dataset
+ Assist our world-renownedclient support help desk with client inquiries
+ Collaborate with globalcounterparts to evolve the role, workflow, and operating procedures toensure consistency in data quality and timeliness across regions
**You’ll need to have:**
+ Minimum 4+ years ofexperience working with financial data, preferably within the Fixed incomeasset class.
+ Fluency in English andPortuguese
+ Demonstrated data managementexperience such as running data quality initiatives, overseeing datagovernance, implementing best practices with regards to data acquisitionand updates.
+ Experience in clientengagement and excellent written and verbal communication skillsespecially when explaining technical processes and solutions to businesspartners and management. Proficiency in English. Knowledge of Spanishand/or Portuguese a plus.
+ A bachelor's degree orhigher in data technology or financial field, or degree-equivalentqualification
+ Be comfortable with a highdegree of autonomy and managing priorities from multiple internal andexternal partners
+ Demonstrated ability to takea logical approach and apply critical thinking skills in order to solveproblems
+ Strong collaboration skillsand experience working as part of a multi-location team
**We’d love to see:**
+ Project managementexperience, particularly in Agile framework
+ Fluency in Spanish
+ Interest in technology
+ Knowledge of statisticalanalysis and demonstrated applied data analysis skills, with proficiencyusing Excel. Experience in SQL and/or Python is a plus.
+ Strong communication andinterpersonal skills
