As a senior data analyst, you will collaborate closely with different teams to help shape business strategies through actionable insights, while managing a variety of data sources and ensuring high-quality analysis and reporting. This role requires critical thinking, creativity, and a strong foundation in data management and statistical analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Pipeline Development:

Help define and develop data pipelines for analytical databases to ensure data integrity and efficiency across the organization.

Strategic Partnership:

Work directly with senior leadership to drive end-to-end high-complexity analysis on a strategic level. This involves making business decisions that have a direct impact on the company’s success.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business objectives and gather data requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals. You will need to have strong communication skills to effectively communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Dashboard Design and Monitoring:

Design and implement data monitoring dashboards to track key metrics, and performance indicators, and ensure the availability of real-time data for decision-makers.

Report Preparation and Presentation:

Gather, analyze, and prepare meaningful data reports that inform key business decisions. Present results to relevant stakeholders and team members to drive action and improvement.

Proactive Data Exploration:

Actively explore datasets to uncover patterns, trends, anomalies, and opportunities. Develop actionable recommendations and propose new metrics that can enhance business performance.

Continuous Improvement:

Focus on accuracy and quality in reporting, as your work will be used for critical decision-making within the company and in external communications. Attention to detail is a must, as these reports are often used for key business decision-making.

Off-Hours Availability:

Be prepared to work outside of regular hours if necessary to meet deadlines or support time-sensitive business needs.

Internal and External Collaboration:

You will work closely with internal teams (such as the Insights Team) to develop comprehensive analysis and reporting strategies and with external stakeholders and decision-makers within the company to provide data-driven insights that support key business objectives.

Requirements:

Technical Expertise:

Proficiency in Python for collecting, manipulating, analyzing, and visualizing data. Experience with Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, and Seaborn is essential. You will also have experience with data models and reporting tools, and familiarity with platforms like Metabase, BigQuery, and Airflow.

Business Acumen:

Familiarity with key business KPIs and the ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations that align with business goals.

Communication Skills:

Strong verbal and written communication skills are required to effectively collaborate with various organizational stakeholders and present insights to senior leadership.

Analytical Skills:

Proficiency in statistical analysis, with the ability to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and develop insights that drive business strategies.

Data Quality and Accuracy:

Strong attention to detail and focus on ensuring the accuracy and reliability of data used for business decision-making.

Experience:

At least 4 years of relevant work experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a similar field.

Strong analytical mindset with an inclination for problem-solving and the ability to think critically to resolve complex issues.
