Responsibilities Data Analysis & Insights: Understand business objectives, domain knowledge, and KPIs. Perform data exploration to identify granularities, attributes, and measures. Conduct root cause analyses and present key insights using data visualization. BI Reporting & Dashboarding: Develop reports and dashboards for data accuracy, performance, and scalability. Create guided analytics using smart dashboards and advanced visualizations (scatter plots, heat maps, etc.). Utilize BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and Sisense Fusion to craft impactful presentations. Perform statistical analysis and establish connections between leading and lagging metrics. Data Engineering Collaboration: Define and support data transformations, data models, and data pipelines. Collaborate with data engineers to integrate live connections and optimize data warehouse solutions. Ensure timely delivery of data-driven projects while maintaining quality and business alignment. Client Engagement: Work closely with clients to deliver actionable insights, dashboards, and reports. Present analytical findings and insights to stakeholders effectively. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field. 5-9 years of experience in BI reporting, data analytics, or data engineering. Advanced SQL and Python skills for ad-hoc analysis, query optimization, and data transformation. Knowledge of statistical techniques (e.g., A/B testing, regression analysis, correlation). Experience with cloud-based data systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Redshift, etc.). Familiarity with data warehouse modeling (star/snowflake schemas). Ability to customize BI tools using CSS, HTML, JavaScript, or Node.js. Strong storytelling and data visualization skills. Amenable working on a permanent night shift. Preferred Skills Expertise in creating Python-based custom visualizations. Knowledge of modern data stack tools like DBT, Airflow, or Airbyte. Agile methodology experience for fast-paced solution iterations.
