Join us and we can make a difference together. **About this role** The **Senior Data Analys** t plays a key role in providing ongoing support with data analysis and reporting, certification, setting parameters, and other program element oversight in supporting program robustness in achieving Carrier’s goals in engineering and operations footprints and strategies. The **Senior Data Analyst** is involved in cross-functional coordination on all levels of the company. Able to be that subject matter expert with robust business acumen along with sound communication skills, and able to synthesize complex business problems, devise and execute plans that address plans that support the engineering organizations goals both short and long term. Must be available to work **onsite** at Carrier’s HQ in **Palm Beach Gardens, FL.** With some global traveling. Plus, we’ll support your growth with paid-for external training programs and courses. **Key Responsibilities** + Provide expert opinion(s) related to the integration and processing of data relevant to the business + Analyze business processes and discrepant data scenarios + Utilize programmatic and quantitative methods to identify patterns and relationships in large data sets + Apply mathematical, statistical, and other data-driven analysis to address intelligence questions + Suggest solutions for opportunities and internal processes + Oversee cross-departmental engineering projects + Assist business units in establishing long-range (multi-year), annual and quarterly workforce plans + Act as key interface between engineering and workforce planning teams + Deliver weekly and monthly reporting in support of a data-driven workforce plans + Provide weekly and monthly updates to senior leadership on workforce planning activities, achievements, and challenges + Maintain full confidentially and discretion on data integrity on strategy / initiatives **Basic Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree + 5+ years of experience in data analysis using SQL, model deployment, or database management + 2+ years of experience to lead and manage multiple projects + 1+ years of experience in strategic planning and creating multi-year roadmap(s) **Preferred Qualifications** + Master’s degree in data science or statistics + Business acumen, interpersonal skills and English (verbal and written) communication + Maneuver through complex projects and topics + Provide sound suggestions and guidance in situations of high ambiguity + Work collaboratively in a team environment + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, MS Teams) + Basic understanding of engineering principles and processes + Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges **Additional information:** + This position doesn’t support immigration sponsorship RSRCAR \#LI-onsite **Carrier is An Equal** **Opportunity/Affirmative** **Action Employer.
