**Overview**
The ideal candidate will work closely with our client’s analytics, marketing, content, and consumer research teams. They are solution oriented and has both breadth and depth of coverage across most digital channels. The Director Analytics candidate has excellent communication skills and can lead a talented team of analytic associates in the execution and delivery of our products and services.
**Responsibilities**
**Communication Skills**
+ Effectively able to assess and resolve issues, and identify and react to client and internal needs, opportunities, and issues
+ Commands client audiences and turns presentations into a constructive dialogue that facilitates discussions on improvements / new approaches with a focus on additional opportunities or BD
+ Tailors presentations to the audience
+ Effectively leads work sessions and meetings even with less structured agendas.
+ Helps others take on leadership positions.
+ Oversees others in organizing and preparing a well-written document.
+ Uses clear, concise writing to connect key insights together and communicate an effective story that illustrates key learnings
+ Is flexible in showing depth or breadth of expertise depending on the audience
+ Owns template creation for best-in-class delivery of analytical outputs
**Analytics**
+ Data Infrastructure:
+ Oversee the integration and organization of data from various sources such as CRM, social media, advertising platforms, and others.
+ Collaborate with IT to maintain and optimize data infrastructure (data warehouses, visualization tools, etc.) that support analytics efforts.
+ Predictive Modeling and Advanced Analytics:
+ Develop and implement the company’s data analytics vision and strategy, aligning it with marketing and business objectives.
+ Implement machine learning, artificial intelligence, and statistical analysis techniques to uncover insights and business opportunities.
+ Define KPIs and key metrics to measure the success of campaigns, user behaviors, and business performance
**Data Strategy**
+ Understands how to approach complex problems by outlining several ways to approach the challenges, can structure the approach from a cost / benefit perspective and confidently guide a team through execution.
+ Considered a "thought leader" within the Data team and broader region for strategic insight and ability to apply insights to multiple client situations (core client work, BD, etc.)
+ Considered a subject matter expert (SME) in multiple areas and can train other team members in these areas
+ Independently able to drive internal and external stakeholder alignment to drive strategy and meet specific business objectives.
**Qualifications**
+ **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, Business Administration, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields. A master’s degree or PhD in a relevant field is a plus.
+ **Experience:** At least 5+ years of experience in data analytics, data science, or related roles. Prior experience in a digital marketing company or agency is highly valued.
+ Has demonstrated thought leadership within their organization by becoming a subject matter expert within an analytics environment.
+ **Technical Skills:**
+ **Expertise in Data Analysis Tools:** Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, and R for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis. Proven experience working with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch to build predictive models and conduct deep learning analyses.
+ **Data Visualization:** Extensive experience using industry-leading data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Looker to create insightful dashboards and reports that drive decision-making.
+ **Robotic Process Automation (RPA):** Hands-on experience with Power Automate to streamline processes, automate workflows, and increase operational efficiency.
+ **Power Platform:** Skilled in developing low-code/no-code applications and solutions using Power Apps, enabling automation and efficiency in business processes.
+ **Cloud Infrastructure:** Solid experience working with Azure Server, including data storage, cloud-based analytics solutions, and deploying scalable machine learning models in a cloud environment.
+ Familiarity with digital marketing platforms such as Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, and Google Ads.
+ **Analytical Skills:** Strong experience in predictive analysis, attribution models, customer segmentation, and marketing mix modeling.
+ **Leadership Skills:** Proven experience in leading teams and managing complex projects. Ability to coordinate and guide a team toward common goals.
+ **Effective Communication:** Ability to present complex results clearly and understandably for non-technical audiences.
+ **Results-Oriented:** Strong problem-solving skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
