Overview This is a hybrid role with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of a company office. The position is responsible for providing business intelligence and data driven insights across the Lending Solutions product management team. The role is responsible for gathering, organizing, and analyzing large data sets to ensure data quality, integrity and accuracy to support informed business decisions. The position is responsible for developing data visualizations to support storytelling and for establishing an analytics roadmap aligned to product development business priorities. Responsibilities Data Analysis - sources relevant data to develop analyses and models for the Lending Solutions team and related stakeholders. Accesses structured and unstructured data across multiple systems. Provides effective and timely communications on findings. Evaluates department strategies to develop perspectives and recommendations informed by sound analysis and fact base. Reporting - Analyzes and produces timely reports for senior management and other stakeholders regarding product pricing, profitability, balance sheet trends and customer insights. Develops business intelligence/data visualization solutions that appropriately represent findings as needed. Assists senior management with preparing committee presentations and other periodic reporting. Business engagement – Responsible for project execution and stakeholder engagement across departments to establish a prioritized roadmap and set appropriate expectations as to timing of analysis to be delivered. Operational Support - Establishes sound processes and repeatable practices supporting all reporting and analysis. Provides support to the department and senior staff regarding technical inquiries serving as a subject matter expert. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of experience in Banking, financial or other directly related industry OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Banking, financial or other directly related industry Preferred Area of Study: Mathematics, statistics, computer science, information management. Able to analyze and visualize large sets of data, Able to create and apply accurate algorithms to datasets to identify solutions, Knowledge of programming languages including but not limited to SQL, Oracle, R, MATLAB, Python, Proficiency in statistics and statistical packages/applications used to analyze data sets, Technical proficiency in Tableau and Power BI.
