Join us. **General Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Data Analyst to support the implementation and ongoing evolution of our Technology Business Management (TBM) capabilities. This role will play a critical part in enabling IT cost transparency, financial accountability, and data-driven decision-making across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial data analysis, IT cost modeling, and cross-functional collaboration. You will work closely with IT, Finance, and Business stakeholders to design and maintain TBM-aligned data models, integrate financial and operational data, and deliver insights that support strategic planning and optimization. **Job Specifications** + Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field. + 6+ years of experience in data analysis, financial modeling, or IT cost management, preferably in IT or financial domains + Strong understanding of IT financial management, budgeting, and cost allocation principles. + Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). + Experience working with large datasets and integrating data from financial and operational systems. + Familiarity with TBM principles and frameworks (e.g., cost pools, towers, services, consumption models). + Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: + Experience with TBM tools or platforms (e.g., Apptio, ServiceNow Financial Management, Cloudability). + Knowledge of ITIL, FinOps, or service management frameworks. + Familiarity with cloud cost management (AWS, Azure, GCP). + Experience with enterprise systems such as ERP, CMDB, or ITSM platforms. + TBM or ITFM certification is a plus. Skills & Competencies: + Strong attention to detail and commitment to data integrity. + Excellent communication and project management skills + Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities and new technologies. + Strong interpersonal skills and experience working cross-functionally with IT, Finance, and Business Units. + Comfortable navigating ambiguity and evolving business needs. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. **Principal Duties and Responsibilities** + Partner with IT, Finance, and Business stakeholders to gather requirements and define data needs aligned with TBM principles. + Design and maintain data models that support cost transparency, budgeting, forecasting, and value realization. + Integrate and validate data from multiple sources, including general ledger (GL), CMDB, time tracking, cloud billing, and ITSM tools. + Analyze IT financial and operational data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for cost optimization. + Perform regular data cleansing and ongoing maintenance to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of TBM datasets and reporting outputs + Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support executive and operational decision-making. + Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across TBM datasets and reporting tools. + Document data sources, transformation logic, and business rules to support transparency and auditability. + Collaborate with IT Planning and Finance teams to support annual planning, chargeback/showback, and service costing initiatives. + Communicate complex data insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. + Provide training and support to stakeholders on TBM reporting and data interpretation. \#LI-AD1 \#LI-MULTI ~IN1 Our company is built on helping individuals and families, and this starts with our employees. The base salary range for applicants for this position is listed below. Unless actual salary is indicated above in the job description, actual pay will be based on skill, geographical location and experience. $89,400.00-$183,500.00 Additionally, Unum offers a portfolio of benefits and rewards that are competitive and comprehensive including healthcare benefits (health, vision, dental), insurance benefits (short & long-term disability), performance-based incentive plans, paid time off, and a 401(k) retirement plan with an employer match up to 5% and an additional 4.5% contribution whether you contribute to the plan or not.
