Compensation

Compensation includes a base salary of $97,100.00 - $161,800.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

Job Description

The Senior Data Engineer is responsible for developing and supporting frameworks and analytics applications enablement capabilities. The Senior Data Engineer also plays a role in Agile planning, providing advice and guidance, and monitoring emerging technologies.  

 

Responsibility Summary: 

Enablement for Reliability Operations, Engineering, Premise and Network Service Health, including:

Anomaly detection and ad-hoc support as needs and issues arise, especially Long-Range Plan impacting anomalies.

Implement cloud capabilities including data ingestion, data models, data storage, high-throughput data processing, data pipelines, access management and data monitoring at scale. 

Build and maintain frameworks in AWS for transitioning analytics solutions.

 

Minimum

Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 4 years’ experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and 2 years’ experience; a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience; or 16 years’ experience in a related field

Requires strong knowledge of AWS cloud 

Excellent interpersonal, leadership, presentation, and collaborative  skills to work effectively with teams throughout organization

 

Preferred

Experience in telecommunications industry desired
