Role Overview
Are you passionate about data engineering and ready to take your skills to the next level? We’re looking for someone who thrives on designing robust data pipelines, optimizing data quality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
What You will do
Design and Optimize Data Pipelines:
Create efficient data pipelines that seamlessly move data from source systems to our modern data warehouse (Snowflake, Databricks).
Ensure data quality, security, and governance throughout the pipeline.
Infrastructure Management:
Set up and manage infrastructure components, including Virtual Machines, Networking, and Application Services (AWS and Azure).
Maintain data platforms, data stores, and distributed systems.
Data Integration and Transformation:
Extract, integrate, and organize data from various sources (databases, APIs, external systems).
Cleanse and transform data for analysis and reporting.
Collaboration:
Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business intelligence teams to optimize models and algorithms.
What we are looking for
Education
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, software engineering, or related quantitative field
Experience
At least 3 years of experience in data management, including data integration, modeling, and optimization.
Skills
Proficiency in modern data architectures (cloud services, data warehouses).
Strong knowledge of SQL and programming languages for data manipulation.
Proficiency in programming language as Python, R and/or Java,
Knowledge in Unix/Linux Shell and PowerShell
Fluent in english and strong communication skills to effectively work cross-collaborative
Knowledge in Big Data Tools such as Hive or Spark are a plus
