The Senior Data Engineering Analyst belongs to Self-Organizing and Cross Functional development team and can convert sprint backlog items to shippable product. They collectively owns end to end development responsibility for a given Agile Team / POD. They will design, code, and test the user stories committed for a sprint. Works independently under limited supervision. Possess skills to effectively deal with issues, challenges within field of specialization to develop application solutions.

  

Primary Responsibilities:

Be a Team Player in an Agile team within a Release Team / Value Stream Develop and automate business solutions by creating new and modifying existing software applications Be technically hands-on and excellent in Design, Coding and Testing End to End, product quality Participate and contribute to Sprint Ceremonies Promote and develop the culture of collaboration, accountability, and quality Provide technical support to the team and help the team in resolving technical issues Closely work with Tech Lead, Onshore partners, deployment, and infrastructure teams Basic, structured, standard approach to work Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience 6+ years of experience working in Data warehousing and Data Mart Platforms 6+ years of working experience in ELT/ETL Design & Development and strong experience in SQL on Teradata and Snowflake preferred 4+ years of working experience in warehousing ecosystem: Design & Development, scheduling jobs using Airflow, running, and monitoring refreshes 3+ year of working experience on Big Data Technologies around Spark/Scala Or PySpark 3+ years of working experience in Agile team 2+ years of working experience to cloud and Dev Ops technologies preferably on Azure: Docker/ Kubernetes/Terraform/Chef  Working experience in CI/CD pipeline (test, build, deployment and monitoring automation) Product or Project or Program Related Tech Stack: SQL: (Teradata preferred or other RDBMS experience) DevOps: Jenkins, GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform experience Scheduling: Airflow, Grafana experience Big Data: Scala or Spark experience Language: Python, Perl, Shell experience Knowledge of software configuration management and packaging  Demonstrated excellent problem-solving skills

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Product or Project or Program Related Tech Stack: SQL (Snowflake Platform experience) Linux (Azure platform) experience Databrics, PySpark, MS Azure, Snowflake experience US healthcare knowledge Knowledge of US Healthcare domain Knowledge of modern data warehousing using Snowflake, Data Lake Proven excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Proven ability to work collaboratively in a global team with a positive team spirit
