Your role involves leveraging your expertise to solve complex engineering challenges, devising creative solutions, and providing guidance on complex engineering matters. **ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY PERFORMANCE OUTCOMES** + Design, build, and maintain highly scalable, fault-tolerant, and efficient ETL/ELT pipelines for ingesting, transforming, and storing data from diverse sources. + Define and enforce best practices for data modeling to support analytics and reporting requirements. + Integrate and manage streaming data pipelines to process and analyze data. + Implement robust data validation and quality assurance processes, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness of data. + Optimize database queries and storage solutions (e.g., partitioning, indexing, caching) for faster data retrieval and reduced costs. + Stay up to date with emerging technologies, frameworks, and industry trends, driving the adoption of new tools and methodologies. **REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS** Required (quantifiable from resume/application): + 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong focus on building data pipelines and working alongside application engineering teams. + 5+ Proficiency in SQL and experience with modern ETL/ELT tools + 5+ Programming expertise in Python, or .NET. + 2+ years of experience with Snowflake + 2+ Experience with data streaming technologies (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis) **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. + Understanding of RESTful APIs and experience in developing or consuming APIs for data integration + Detail-oriented, with a focus on code quality, maintainability, and adherence to best practices. + Excellent communication skills, with the ability to advise and guide others effectively. ***The US base salary range for this full-time position is: $119,439.36 - $179,159.04 The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location.
