Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Data Engineer in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This role is pivotal in our team, where you'll be expected to leverage your experience with SQL Server, SQL Programming, and Azure suite to optimize our data systems. Responsibilities: • Develop and manage SQL Server and Azure SQL Databases, ensuring their optimization and efficient operation. • Use SQL Programming to create complex functions, scripts, stored procedures, and triggers to support application development. • Utilize Azure Data Factory for ETL processes, ensuring the accurate and timely transfer of data between systems. • Manage and optimize Azure Data Lake for storing large amounts of raw data in its native format. • Leverage Azure Blob Storage for storing unstructured and semi-structured data like images, blobs, and binary data. • Apply your knowledge of SQL Server Business Intelligence to design, develop, and implement BI solutions. • Ensure the security, integrity, and high availability of all assigned databases and data Requirements • Expertise in Azure Blob Storage is essential. • Proficiency in using Azure Data Factory is required. • Experience with Azure Data Lake is mandatory. • Strong knowledge of Azure SQL Database is necessary. • Proficiency in SQL Programming is a must. • Experience with SQL Server is required. • Familiarity with SQL Server Business Intelligence is needed.
