Kforce has a client in Doral, FL that is seeking a Senior Data Engineer. Summary: The Senior Data Engineer plays an important role in delivering a high quality, perfectly functioning data environment to support key Financial Operations. In this role the candidate will be instrumental in designing, maintaining, optimizing, and expanding our data warehouse environment, ensuring data integrity, and providing valuable insights to the business. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing robust and scalable ETL pipelines, data warehouses, and data lakes, as well as expertise in modern data engineering tools and technologies. The Senior Data Engineer will work closely with database administrators, business analysts, and stakeholders across the organization to understand their data needs and translate them into effective solutions. Responsibilities: * Working closely with the functional, technical, and data warehouse teams to develop data models and build data pipelines that clean, transform, and aggregate data from disparate sources * Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand their reporting and analytical requirements * Provide support in accessing and utilizing data from the data warehouse * Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using [reporting tools including SRSS, OBIEE, Tableau, Power BI, etc. * Be an advocate for best practices and possess excellent communication skills, especially for explaining technical concepts to nontechnical audiences * Closely work in conjunction with other teams and Corporate Finance, Retail Operations, Revenue Management, Hotel Operations, Groups Department, etc. to insure cohesiveness with corporate goals and initiatives
