JR61178 Senior Data Management SpecialistThe Data Management Specialist will be responsible for a wide range of duties to ensure the successful performance of the functional area they support. Primary responsibilities include upholding data governance policies, supporting the day to day master data creation and maintenance for their given area of responsibility, and monitoring/auditing the overall data quality. Secondary responsibilities include documenting and analyzing business processes; closing documentation gaps in existing processes and driving continuous improvements that will increase efficiency and streamline processes for improved data quality.
Responsibilities:
- Design and evaluate programs for functional areas such as supply chain, finance, and procurement.
- Analyze existing programs or develop logic for new systems, including devising logic procedures, preparing flowcharts, and performing tests.
- Develop conversion and system implementation plans.
- Recommend changes in development, maintenance, and system standards.
- Train users in the conversion and implementation of systems.
- Understand and design entity models in IDMC Customer and Product 360.
- Create reference data sets in Reference 360 according to requirements and establish approval workflows.
- Develop data quality rules in Intelligent Data Management Cloud(IDMC) CDQ and apply them to Customer/Product 360 entity definitions.
- Develop data enrichment and transformation rules in IDMC CDQ and use them in Customer/Product/Vendor 360 entity definitions.
Qualifications:
- Experience with Informatica, SAP SD/MM and data validation tools. TeamCenter experience is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with SQL queries.
- Strong understanding of data integration, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
Education: BE/B.Tech/MBA in Information Systems, Business Management, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience:5-7 years of relevant experience.
