**BluePearl Pet Hospital is currently seeking an experienced Senior Data Migration Developer.** This is a remote position and required to work EST time zone. The Senior Data Migration Developer leads Azure data migration efforts and pipeline creation. **As the Senior Data Migration Developer, you will:** + Leads the design and implementation of data migration solutions within the Azure ecosystem, leveraging Azure Databricks, Synapse Analytics, Data Factory, and Azure Fabric. + Creates and manages the Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) pipelines for efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading, using Azure Data Factory and Synapse for data orchestration. + Establishes and promotes best practices for data migration and integration processes across all Azure services. + Designs and builds Application Programming Interface (API) integrations, connecting external data sources and creating new integrations as needed. + Utilizes Power BI and other power platform tools for data visualization and business intelligence solutions. + Manages Azure Datalake and work with Azure SQL, ensuring data quality, performance, and consistency across all systems. + Utilizes Git Enterprise for code versioning, collaboration, and documentation across development teams. + Collaborates with data engineers, BI developers, and integration teams, and provides mentorship to junior team members on best practices and innovation. + Maintains proficiency in Python and MS SQL. + Other job duties as assigned. **Education/Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field required. + 7+ years of relevant experience required. + Requires critical thinking skills and decisive judgment. + Works under minimal supervision. + Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. + Excellent interpersonal, organizational, prioritization of work, and problem-solving skills. + Requires in-depth skills and knowledge of the specialized concepts, practices, and procedures in the area of specialization. + Utilizes in-depth knowledge of the specialization as well as business needs to recommend appropriate action. + Travel required (25%). **Why BluePearl?** + Our passion is pets.
