About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking highly skilled and talented Senior Analytics Consultant who will form part of an agile group of professionals that will work across the Consumer and Small Business core businesses and functions to provide deep analysis and strategic solutions to enable existing and new businesses to develop and expand.
In this role, you will:
Lead or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables by utilizing data-driven, advanced analytical, statistical techniques, algorithms, or models to make actionable insights, trends, recommendations, or contribute to large-scale planning that has a broader impactReview and analyze moderately complex, large structured and unstructured data sets from various sources, requiring an in-depth hypothesis generation and advanced analysis of variable factors to convert data into meaningful insights and recommendationsIndependently analyze and resolve moderately complex issues and lead team to meet deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of analytic capabilitiesCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to drive recommendations and strategies based on data-driven analytical insights, trends, and patterns that will resolve issues and achieve goals; may lead projects, teams, or serve as a mentor for lower-level staffExecute analytical experiments and create innovative statistical models to discover solutions for abstract business problems across various domainsInterpret and analyze data, using advanced analytics modeling methods and programming, to recommend ways to solve problems and influence business decisions and strategiesCommunicate actionable insights and recommendations using data in a digestible format to a non-technical audience of varying levels
Required Qualifications:
University degree in statistics, math, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis from tier 1 universities.Exceptional problem-solving skills with an analytical and creative mindset. Strategy and implementation experienceExecution oriented, professional demeanor, self-starter behavior and able to recognize opportunities for improvement in the business and to act on those opportunities.5+ years of Data, Analytics and Reporting, Financial Modeling, Statistics, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, educationStrong project management skills, including ability to work to deadlines and give realistic estimates.Strong understanding of relational databases and ability to query data using SQL.Ability to blend data across multiple data sources and create story by connecting dots, present to senior stakeholders in executive ready presentations

Extensive knowledge and understanding of cross-channel data (e.g. branch, digital, and contact center) and analysisSkilled data scientist with the ability to turn findings into executable plans to meet business objectivesFinancial analytic proficiency rooted in sound business principles of ROI-optimization5+ years of experience with SAS or SQL, or other data management, reporting and query tools5+ years of experience integrating multiple data from multiple platforms (e.g. relational databases and cloud-based)Good to have: Experience with Hadoop ecosystem toolsKnowledge and understanding of digital channel systems, processes, and analytic toolsProficiency in banker-assisted (branch banking and contact center) dataExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsAdvanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are importantAbility to execute in a fast paced, high demand, environment while balancing multiple prioritiesAbility to prepare presentations, management reporting, and statistical analysisAbility to create and improve process through strategic thinkingExperience designing and developing business intelligence or data analytics applications using tools such as TableauStrong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracyGood understanding of Banking/ Financial services domain (Consumer Banking/ Wealth & Investment Management)Tenacity and persistence to ensure compliance with tight deadlines
