Senior Data ScientistJob Description

The Data Scientist designs and develops processes to support clinical program using eligibility, medical, and pharmacy administrative claims. This position is responsible for performing work that includes study design, measurement and publishing results of complex pharmacy and medical health insurance clinical programs.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and apply statistical theories and methods to solve complex technical problemsDefine detailed report requirements for new decision support reports as assignedUse multivariate modeling statistical software (SAS, R, etc.) to create and maintain listings, tabulations, graphical summaries, and formal statistical estimates and testsPerform predictive modeling for clinical program development/enhancement and adherenceCreate statistically sound data sets, analysis methods, and scientific reports, assess quality of data analysis programs, and develop automated analysis tools where appropriateOther duties as assigned

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, epidemiology, or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; HS diploma or GED is required5 years of related work experience with large data setsExperience with SAS and/or SQLMust be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

Potential pay for this position ranges from $94,000.00 - $160,000.00 based on experience and skills.
