Seeking a talented Senior Data Scientist to join our Data Science team, dedicated to driving commercial value from data across the Corporate Bank. Key Responsibilities:
Lead Data Science projects leveraging your deep technical skillset in machine learning to guide and mentor other members of the team.Develop machine learning models that deliver commercial value for the Corporate Bank.Critique and suggest ways in which technical methodologies can be improved on projects within the team. Verify that outputs being produced by the team are technically sound and accurate.Build relationships with senior stakeholders across the bank to seek out opportunities to add value through Data Science.Work closely with our equivalent ML Ops team in technology to streamline the path to production for successful projects.Essential Skills and Qualifications:
Extensive experience in delivering Data Science projects in a commercial context.Expert in machine learning techniques (e.g., clustering, classification, regression, NLP)Ability to write production standard code in Python with a strong grasp of coding principlesAbility to articulate technical findings in business terms and demonstrate value to stakeholders.Familiarity with AWS data science services, including SageMaker.Experience working with big data environments, particularly using PySpark.Proficiency in data visualization software, ideally Tableau, with exposure to QlikView, PowerBI, or similar tools.
