About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Data Scientist - ML Engineer to join our growing Data & AI team (50 FTE) in Belgium. In this role, you will play a key part in designing, developing, and deploying machine learning solutions for our clients across various industries. You will collaborate with other data scientists, engineers, and consultants to deliver innovative and impactful solutions that address our clients' business challenges.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and algorithmsAnalyze large and complex datasets to identify patterns and insightsBuild and maintain data pipelines for data ingestion, processing, and transformationCollaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutionsStay up to date with the latest advancements in machine learning and artificial intelligenceContribute to the development of Devoteam's data science and machine learning capabilities

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Master's degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field5+ years of experience in a data science or machine learning roleStrong programming skills in Python or RExperience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learnExperience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCPExperience with Databricks is a plusExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsFluent in English and proficiency in Dutch or French is mandatory.Sponsorship for a work permit not possible

Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or HiveExperience with MLOps tools and practicesExperience with natural language processing or computer visionContributions to open-source projects or publications in relevant conferences or journals
