Job Description Insight Global is hiring a seasoned Senior Data Solution Specialist with deep expertise across AWS Data platforms to join a Canadian banking client. You will design and deliver enterprise-grade cloud-native data solutions, working in collaboration with business and technology leaders within a large banking organization. This role drives the development and implementation of modern data engineering practices, policies, and cloud-native solutions to support a major initiative. The specialist will manage the full data lifecycle, ensuring secure, efficient, and cost-effective collection, transformation, storage, and access of data across hybrid and cloud-native environments. An ideal candidate for the position should be able to ramp up in this role quickly. Some key responsibilities include optimizing performance, scalability, and security across the AWS application stack and ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture and regulatory requirements in financial services. This role will be a 6-month contract with potential extensions or conversion to full time employment, and it will be hybrid in Downtown Toronto. Skills and Requirements Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.  8+ years of AWS Cloud data analysis and transformation experience in enterprise environments.  3-5 years of experience in Wealth Management. Familiarity with critical wealth data components/entities and standard enterprise practices across North America is preferrable for this role.  Strong knowledge of AWS services related to data: S3, Glue, Redshift, Athena, Lambda, IAM, CloudFormation.  Strong experience with AWS microservices architecture and containerized deployments (ECS, ECR, Lambda).  Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (CloudFormation or CDK).  Proven track record of delivering solutions in the banking or financial services domain.
