About the role
Barry Callebaut Digital (BC Digital) is on a mission to lead the digital revolution in the chocolate industry, and we're looking for a Senior Data Strategy & Architecture Manager to develop data strategy- and architecture frameworks and help us lift Barry Callebaut to the next level. Reporting to the Data Enablement Director, you will have the unique opportunity to shape the Data & Analytics landscape at Barry Callebaut, enabling our business to make data-driven decisions.
Key responsibilities include
Define the data analytics strategy for Barry Callebaut, in close alignment with D&A leadership and stakeholders from digital and business Design and manage the data analytics architecture for Barry Callebaut, in close alignment with D&A leadership and our enterprise architects Design a scalable and flexible architecture that supports current and future D&A requirements Develop and implement the Data & Analytics roadmap in alignment with business goals and required capabilities Collaborate with digital and business stakeholders to understand their Data & Analytics requirements and ensure alignment of data initiatives and architecture with business priorities Identify emerging technologies and assess their potential value for the D&A architecture Collaborate with other data teams to jointly transform the Data & Analytics landscape of Barry Callebaut
About you
Degree in IT/technology, data, business administration, or a comparable field Proficiency in English Deep understanding of roles, processes and technologies around Data & Analytics, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience Significant experience in designing and implementing Data & Analytics strategies and architectures in the consumer goods industry (other relevant industry experience welcome) Experienced in transforming a digital/data organization into an agile, product-oriented, and business-integrated set-up The ability to bring people together and collaboratively drive change on a global scale Skills to create internal and external partnerships/networks across the organization Exhibits a passion for data-centric technology and innovation, constantly seeking new and creative solutions to enhance processes, decision-making and user experiences Embraces agile methodologies and flexible thinking to adapt to changing digital trends and business needs, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning Collaborates well across diverse and globally distributed teams, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships across different levels and functions of the organization Has an independent and self-driven personality, taking responsibility and owning tasks Prioritizes the user experience in all data enablement initiatives, ensuring that solutions meet needs and enhance data literacy
