Senior Database Administrator

Major responsibilities include:

Design, model, or implement database structures as well as build and maintain various databases for stakeholder needsIntegrate Big Data and analytics capabilitiesLeverage open standards and best practice data models to minimize complexity and enable data integration with adjacent programs.Effectively collaborate with business and technical agency staff to develop data vision, features, and release cycles.Interface with technical team members, adjacent program offices, adjacent contractors, and external stakeholders
Minimum Education requirement: University degree (BS) in a closely related field (Information Technology, Business Administration)
Years of Required Work-Related Experience: 5+ years demonstrated experience creating and sustaining integrated database platforms and applying Hadoop to meet surging data requirements.
Required Certifications: IBM Hadoop certification or a closely related certification
