About the OpportunityDMI is currently seeking to hire a Senior Database Architect to support a Federal Government customer in the DC metro area. A Senior Database Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable, and secure database solutions, primarily using Microsoft SQL Server.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Minimum 10+ years of technical experience in database Architecture or similar Application support or Development environmentRequired and Desired Skills/Certifications:
Knowledge, strong experience, and understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices.Strong experience with SQL Server 2012 and 2016Knowledgeable of T-SQL (Indexes, Triggers, Functions, Packages and Procedures)Familiarity with SSAS, SSIS, SSRSStrong Experience in High availability (Always On, cluster environment)Strong knowledge of backups, restores, recovery modelsStrong communication, interpersonal and human relations skills to interact with clientsStrong analytical and problem solving skillsAbility to work collaboratively on multi-disciplinary teamsAdditional Requirements: Successful completion of a Public Trust background investigation and/or a Public Trust clearance.
