IntelliBridge is looking for a hands-on Senior Database Developer to join our growing team!

Position Overview:
 The candidate will be working in an Agile environment along with 4 to 5 other database developers, and multiple scrum teams comprised of developers, a business analyst, scrum master and UI/UX designer.  The candidate should exhibit excellent problem solving and data analysis skills as well as a proven ability to work independently. The candidate will focus on design, development, implementation and testing of the software built on a new technology stack using industry standard tools and design patterns.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

Work closely with the product owner, business analyst, tech lead and designer to translate requirementsCreate necessary tables, views, procedures, and scripts to the support creation of multiple usable web pagesBe proficient in back-end .NET development with skills in web service development and managing the data access tierSupport database needs for multiple environments (development, test, QA, UAT) in a highly collaborative team environmentPrepare scripts for modifying and maintaining production schemas and dataBe responsible for SSIS, SQL Code, and Transact SQL routinesAssist with SSRS report development and deployment

Required Skills and Competencies:

7 plus years of experience as a Oracle database developer, including creating DB tables, views, procedures, and scripts5 plus years’ experience with SQL queries and databases, e.g. Oracle 195 plus years’ experience with PL/SQLExperience with PL/SQL unit testingExperience developing an enterprise-wide applicationStrong communication skills with management, development teams, and product owner

Desired Skills:

History of working in an Agile environmentPrior knowledge of migrating from Oracle to Postgres.Experience migrating data to a cloud environment.Experience with NoSQL databases and NoSQL support in PostgreSQLKnowledge of Perl, HTML and JavaScript

Education and Experience:

A bachelor’s degree preferably in Computer Science, Software Engineering, similar discipline, or equivalent work experience is required.
