As a Senior Database Developer, you will directly impact the quality of the software we produce, dealing with challenges of complex architecture of a 99.9% uptime system that drives huge traffic. We currently have 10+ Data Centers across the world, with hundreds of database servers and thousands of databases. We are proud to say that we handle 1 billion transactions daily and around 10TB of data on a monthly basis.
What Will You Get To Do
Since we are growing in every aspect we are facing a challenge to effectively maintain a large number of products and their databases. To ensure that everything runs smoothly the role of a Database Developer is crucial.
As a Database Developer at our company, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing database structures to ensure high performance and reliability. You will proactively monitor database performance, troubleshoot and resolve issues, and collaborate with team members to enhance database functionality. Your role will involve implementing best practices in data management and security, suggesting and implementing improvements to database design, and ensuring that our databases meet the evolving needs of the business.
Qualifications
Required qualifications:
Experience with SQL Server administration
Knowledge of T-SQL
Knowledge and understanding of relational database design and development
Knowledge of database performance tuning and query optimization
Experience with big data systems, high-traffic, and large-scale systems is an advantage
Windows server administration is an advantage
Powershell knowledge is an advantage
Curious and willing to learn, adopt or propose new technologies
Motivated, proactive and love to work in a team
