Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Delivery Manager to join our team!
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of projects within the Technical Affairs Division at JCPDI, ensuring successful execution across the Urban Planning, Project Management, Construction, Engineering, and Environmental Protection and Control Departments. This role involves coordinating cross-departmental efforts, managing resources, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.
Reports to the SAPL Program Manager and receives administrative direction from RC Directors regarding specific objectives and goals. Represents the company and the Royal Commission in interactions with consultants, stakeholders, contractors, and vendors, ensuring alignment with project goals and successful delivery.
**What You'll Be Doing:**
**Project Strategy & Execution**
+ Oversee the end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring successful completion within scope, budget, and timeline.
+ Coordinate and align cross-departmental efforts to ensure seamless collaboration and resource management.
+ Develop and implement detailed project plans, ensuring alignment of project goals and deliverables with department heads.
+ Assign project responsibilities based on qualifications, strengths, and experience to optimize execution and performance.
+ Regularly monitor and report project progress to senior management, highlighting key milestones, risks, and potential impacts.
+ Work with department managers to address project delays, scope changes, or budget overruns, creating corrective action plans as necessary.
**Quality, Safety & Compliance**
+ Oversee the development and implementation of key project documents, including Work Plans, Health and Safety Plans, and Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plans.
+ Ensure all projects comply with health, safety, and environmental standards, promoting a safe and sustainable working environment.
+ Identify opportunities for process improvement in project delivery, driving the adoption of best practices and continuous improvement.
**Stakeholder & Team Management**
+ Provide leadership and mentorship to teams across departments, fostering collaboration, high performance, and professional development.
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and external stakeholders, ensuring satisfaction through clear communication, regular updates, and effective issue resolution.
+ Assist the program manager in strategic decision-making, providing technical analysis and support for project planning and execution.
+ Take on additional responsibilities as required, contributing to the overall success of the Technical Affairs Division and JCPDI’s project portfolio.
**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**
+ A Bachelor's degree in Engineering; a Master’s degree and certifications such as PMP or Agile are highly preferred.
+ Minimum 25 years of experience in senior project management, operations, or delivery management, with a strong focus on large-scale, cross-departmental projects.
+ Proven experience in Project Controls, including scheduling and project performance monitoring.
+ Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams across multiple disciplines.
+ Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
+ Ability to collaborate with senior management, clients, and external stakeholders to align project goals and ensure client satisfaction.
