The Role

As an experienced Delphi Developer, you will be developing core business functionality for several applications within a critical actuarial valuation suite utilizing the Delphi desktop frontend coupled to MS SQL at the backend.  You’ll play a SCRUM team member role, assisting in the creation of scalable, maintainable software without over-engineering to quality standards.  You must have a well proven track record in software delivery and a proactive approach to problem solving with the experience to understand and deal with ambiguity.

Our Retirement Technology Solutions group designs, builds, hosts and supports financial and administration software for our user base, both external and internal. The Requirements

Significant experience and demonstrable success in Delphi development within a Microsoft technology-based environmentSignificant knowledge and experience with Delphi RAD Studio 10.1 Berlin or greaterSignificant experience of working with MS SQL server including implementing DatabaseProjectsSignificant experience of working with complex financial modelling software including actuarial, mathematical or statistical applicationsExperience within a MS TFS environment or other major SDLC Application Lifecycle Management tool including automated build and deploy processesExperience in developing REST Web API servicesDemonstrable problem solving with high quality unit testable code as your norm and developed using TDD techniquesExposure to, and working knowledge of, developing for MS AzureActive knowledge and experience working with Agile Development MethodologiesMotivated and results oriented delivering on time and to budgetAs a team player with a good sense of humor you communicate and work effectively in English within a multi-skilled and multi-geography technical team
