To strengthen our Global Assets & Brands Supply department, based in our hub in Braine, Belgium, we are looking for a talented individual to fill the position of: Senior Demand Forecasting & Business Planning Lead.
About the Role
You will be leading demand, business planning, and forecasting processes for our global product portfolio. You will govern business planning and demand forecasting practices, contribute to supply chain resilience, and drive consensus across multi-functional stakeholders. and strengthen demand management capabilities
You Will Work With
Collaborate closely with the Global Supply Chain departments.Collaborate with the Finance and Supply Chain departments
What You Will Do
Lead the demand planning process for a global product portfolio.Analyze data to enhance demand forecasts and apply advanced forecasting techniques.Identify and mitigate risks in the 3-year demand plan.Drive demand plans and scenarios for tactical and strategic horizons.Expand governance and demand planning from a 3-year to a 10-year horizon.Complete regular and ad-hoc reporting on key performance metrics.Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to translate business assumptions into demand plans over the full horizon.Lead the preparation of Demand Review Meetings (DRMs) and present insights on supply constraints.Provide guidance to local, regional, and market SIOP processes.Act as a coach for MSO teams and facilitate pre-demand meetings.Drive continuous improvement in demand management processes.Support technical upgrades and enhancements of forecasting systems.
Interested? For this position, you’ll need the following education, experience, and skills:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmacy or in a relevant field.10+ years of experience in demand planning or related roles within a manufacturing environment.English is a required; French is a plus.Proven experience in process definition, implementation, and change management.In-depth knowledge of supply chain planning and strategic business objectives.Certification in APICS or equivalent is preferred.Strong leadership skills.Demonstrated pro-active leadership with strong influencing skills and a proven ability to work cross-functionally, driving value across different areas of the business.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership.Strong problem-solving skills, with a flexible and adaptable approach to dynamic business challenges.Knowledge of GMP/Pharma environment is a plusTolerance for risk and uncertainty, and ability to champion change.
