The European Operating Center located in Heerlen houses a team of about 500 professionals in Supply Chain, Warehousing & Logistics, Customer Service, Transport and Master Data Governance. Next to that the DC in Heerlen acts as a first tier Hub in our worldwide Supply network and as such we also serve other international DC’s of Medtronic with products that are manufactured in Europe. A team of 120 Supply Chain professionals is accountable for Supply Chain Management for the entire Medtronic product portfolio containing over 80,000 active products, generating over 4 b$ of revenue via multi-channel sales concepts (B2C, B2B) and multiple inventory strategies (Direct Sales, Hospital Consignment stock, Local Dc’s/forward stocking points). Regional Demand Planner works to develop and execute supply chain solutions which support business objectives, including IBP (integrated business planning), demand planning, and product launch support. Partners with global and EMEA supply chain teams as well as Sales/Marketing to manage product supply and inventory. Supports process improvement opportunities throughout each stage of the product lifecycle, new product launch planning and execution, product rationalization, E2E demand planning operations management and IBP. **Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:** Proactive demand forecast by working closely with Sales/Marketing and supply chain teams to develop, utilize, and improve best practise processes; Lead regional IBP cycle; Review, challenge, and amend the statistical forecast in conjunction with regional tender volume requirements to improve forecast accuracy; Active involvement with regional tender management, product launches and acquisitions to generate an optimal forecast; To align the volume forecast with the fiscal forecast through a robust IBP process; Educate Marketing and the countries on the demand planning process and impact of forecasting on the business; To be able to communicate with all levels of the organization in a clear, concise, and accurate manner; To use excellent analytical and numerical skills to understand, interpret, and utilize data and in-formation; Keep management updated with KPI’s. **Required knowledge and experience:** • 3 to 5 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning. • Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work with diverse groups across the whole supply chain. • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English • Self-motivated and pro-active • Dutch language • Experience with Power BI • Experience with IBP (Integrated Business Planning) • Experience using SAP R/3, APO and Blue Yonder **Physical Job Requirements** The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.  **Benefits & Compensation** **Medtronic offers a competitive Salary and flexible Benefits Package** A commitment to our employees lives at the core of our values.
