Senior Dental Analyst, Pharmacy Department
Description and Requirements As a member of the Dental Benefit Services team, this role will be responsible for gathering and analyzing dental data and interpreting market trends to identify opportunities to further enhance our current dental benefits offering and improve vendor oversight. In addition, this role will be responsible for designing, developing, interpreting and maintaining interactive dashboards based on, but not limited, to vendor performance, using data visualization tools like Tableau, and working with key stakeholders to develop actionable items to improve processes and optimize results. This role requires collaboration between internal and external stakeholders to ensure short- and long-term goals are executed timely and successfully with operational effectiveness and efficiency.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Conducts market research and understands members’ needs to ensure our current dental benefit remain competitive and sustainable.Designs interactive dashboards that provide an at-a-glance view of key performance indicators (KPIs), member feedback based on appeals and grievances, utilization and spend across our Healthfirst products.Creates visually appealing presentations that demonstrate data-driven insights to promote data driven decision making.Builds a process to ensure the accuracy of our dental directory meets Healthfirst performance targets and/or compliance standards.Creates oversight monitoring activities including the validation of reporting to ensure the dental vendor meets Healthfirst targets and/or compliance expectations on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.Additional duties as assigned or necessary

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalentFamiliarity with programming languages such as SQL, Python or RExperience with data visualization and reporting techniques using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similarAdvanced knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)Demonstrated success analyzing large datasetsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a teamContinuous learning mindset

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in data analytics or consulting, preferably in the healthcare industry1+ years' of working experience with SQL1+ years' of working experience with PythonKnowledge of health care industry, systems, business strategies and productsUse advanced analytical tools and software for data analysis and modeling

Hiring Range*:

Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $81,100 - $117,470

All Other Locations (within approved locations): $71,600 - $106,505

As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.
